“Love Island” Alum Huda Mustafa Shuts Down PlaqueBoyMax Dating Rumors After Viral Livestream: ‘No, We’re Friends’
Huda Mustafa is clearing the air about her relationship with PlaqueBoyMax after their recent viral stream had fans wondering whether the two were more than friends.
The “Love Island” alum shut down the dating speculation while speaking with TMZ in Burbank, insisting there is no romance happening behind the scenes.
“No, we’re friends,” Huda said, while describing Max as “the sweetest ever.”
According to Huda, the streamer has become one of her closest friends since she relocated to Los Angeles. She said Max has helped make her transition to the West Coast easier by regularly checking on her and making sure she has everything she needs. Huda said she returns that same support.
She also defended Max amid online conversations surrounding his sexuality following the release of his “Diva” music video. Huda believes people are overlooking his larger message of encouraging others to embrace who they are without being restricted by traditional ideas of masculinity or femininity.
While romance with Max is apparently off the table, Huda has something else coming. She teased that a new song is arriving “very, very soon,” calling it a fitting way to close out the summer.
