Boxing Star Claressa Shields Wants Beyoncé To Walk Her To The Ring Before She Retires: ‘That’s My Dream’
Claressa Shields has accomplished plenty inside the boxing ring, but there’s still one major moment on her wish list — and it involves Beyoncé.
The undisputed boxing champion revealed that she wants the superstar to walk her to the ring for a fight before she retires. Shields told TMZ Sports that Beyoncé could even choose the song for the special entrance.
Shields said she isn’t asking for a full performance, either. She simply wants Beyoncé alongside her for the walk, calling it a dream she hopes to make happen before her boxing career comes to an end.
The 31-year-old fighter also shared that she plans to keep competing until she’s around 38, giving Queen Bey a few years to make the memorable ring walk happen.
