Sports Commentator Joy Taylor Says She Funded Her Ex’s Lifestyle Before He Cheated w/ A Stripper: ‘I Was Paying For Everything’
Sports commentator Joy Taylor says one past relationship forced her to take a hard look at what she was allowing after financially supporting a boyfriend who later cheated on her with a stripper.
During a recent episode of “Get to the Point,” Taylor said people “wouldn’t believe” she once paid the bills while her then-boyfriend spent about a month “on the couch playing video games.”
“What did I get for that? I’m like, ‘Alright, look, it’s been a while; we’ve got to get a job, so here’s some money go get a drink. Clear your head.’”
Instead, Taylor said he went to a strip club and cheated. A bartender later warned her.
“And so she told me and she was like, ‘Girl, I don’t want no drama, but your man was up in here,’” Taylor recalled. “So I asked him about it and he was like, ‘That’s not true. We’ll go out there right now.’”
Taylor said that moment changed everything.
“I’m living wrong. I have reinforced this behavior. It’s absolutely crazy. You got it. And I left him one broom because we had two brooms,” she continued. “So, I took everything and left. It was all my s**t anyway because obviously I was paying for everything.”
Ladies, have you ever funded a man’s lifestyle?
