Funkmaster Flex Denies Being Punched During Heated Incident At Knicks Game, Accuses Music Executive Shadow Stokes Of Trying To Bait Him Into A Payout

Funkmaster Flex is firing back at reports that he was allegedly assaulted last night during a heated confrontation at Madison Square Garden.

The legendary New York DJ took to social media after footage circulated online appearing to show an altercation during a Knicks game. Some reports claimed Flex was punched in the mouth.

Flex quickly dismissed the allegations, writing, “HAHAHAHAH! ASSAULTED WHEN? IM MINDING MY BUSINESS? SHADOW U MAD? WHO THAT WITH U?”

In another post, Flex specifically called out music executive Shadow Stokes, accusing him of attempting to provoke a confrontation because of an alleged ongoing legal dispute.

“SHADOW STOKES COULD NEVER PUNCH ME! HES AN AMBULANCE CHASER!” Flex wrote.

He continued, “THIS MUSIC INDUSTRY COUPLE HAS AN ‘ACTIVE CASE’ AGAINST ME AND MY COMPANY! TRYING HARD TO BAIT ME INTO A PAYOUT!”

Flex also suggested he was intentionally avoiding a confrontation because of the alleged legal proceedings, adding, “YALL AINT SMARTER THAN ME! APPROACH WHEN THAT CASE DONT EXIST! SHADOW STOKES!”

The DJ ended his message by teasing that he plans to share more details about the situation Thursday at 7 p.m., writing, “I GOT A STORY TO TELL!”

While footage of the confrontation has circulated online, it remains unclear whether Flex was physically struck. His allegations regarding Shadow Stokes and the reported legal dispute have not been independently verified.
