Justin Timberlake Is Ready To Tell His Side: Janet Jackson & Britney Spears Scandals Reportedly Featured In Upcoming Apple TV Docuseries

Justin Timberlake is preparing to revisit some of the biggest controversies of his career in a four-part Apple TV docuseries reportedly featuring Janet Jackson and discussions about Britney Spears.

According to Variety, the project is scheduled for December and is being described as a “tell-all.” Directed by Fisher Stevens, the series reportedly includes Jackson discussing the infamous 2004 Super Bowl “wardrobe malfunction,” which sparked widespread backlash against her after Timberlake exposed her breast during their halftime performance.

Another source claims Timberlake addresses recent comments made by his former girlfriend Spears, whose memoir detailed their relationship and breakup.

Neither Apple nor representatives for Timberlake and Jackson have confirmed additional details.

The documentary also follows a challenging period for Timberlake, whose “Forget Tomorrow” tour concluded in July 2025 after his 2024 DWI-related arrest and subsequent conviction on a lesser charge.

Timberlake also revealed his Lyme disease diagnosis in July 2025, explaining how the illness affected his performances.

“I’ve been battling some health issues, and was diagnosed with Lyme Disease–which I don’t say so you feel bad for me – but to shed some light on what I’ve been up against behind the scenes,” he wrote.

“If you’ve experienced this disease or know someone who has- then you’re aware: Living with this can be relentlessly debilitating, both mentally and physically.”

His 2024 arrest also generated the widely circulated alleged remark, “This is going to ruin the tour.” However, subsequently released police footage did not support that quote, instead capturing something resembling “I’m on tour.”

An official premiere date has not been announced.
