Evelyn Lozada Publicly Apologizes to Star Jones + Star Responds on Twitter

Celebrity queen Evelyn Lozada graces the cover of VIBE’s 2012 Sexy Issue alongside fellow reality stars Kandi Burruss, Chrissy Lampkin and Tamar Braxton. In the cover story, Lozada speaks her mind on Star Jones and the petition to take Basketball Wives off the air. When asked about her feelings toward the crusade and Jones’ opinion of her, Lozada laughs:
“I think she’s going to have to get a whole lot of names. Actually, I like the petition and I like the controversy because I’ve learned controversy is good. But I think she’s irrelevant. And she’s using our coattails to get relevant again. Nobody gives a fuck about her”
After the story hit, Evelyn tweeted an explanation and public apology to Star, tweeting:
Meanwhile, it’s good to see that not only has Evelyn apologized, but Star has accepted her apology. Star responded:
You know you’re lucky you apologized @EvelynLozada for@vibemagazine b/c you were about to get a “EVELYN” type cuss out! NOT…just kidding.
From what we hear, Media Personality, Jawn Murray helped the dialogue between both Evelyn and Star (who Jawn is good friends with).
