Basketball Wives’ Tami Roman A No Show for Evelyn Lozada’s Wedding

As most of you know, on July 4th, Basketball Wives’ Evelyn Lozada and NFL’er Chad Ochocinco made it official and jumped the broom. While we know that cast-mate Shaunie O’Neal attended (s/o to Twitter), we recently discovered that cast-mate Tami Roman was not in attendance. Shaunie confirmed Tami’s absence to VH1 over the weekend. She explained:

“I don’t want to speak for anybody….Tami was invited, but I don’t know. It was far… St. Maartin is a trek.”

Although it sounds like there may be some sort of tension between Tami and the new Mrs. Ochocinco, all seems well on twitter. On the day of the wedding ceremony, Tami wrote:

Our guess is that Tami had work obligations (we saw her the Essence Music Festival). Also, I’m sure viewers will learn more about why Tami was absent, on Evelyn’s upcoming reality spin-off w/ her new husband. Meanwhile, on Sunday, we caught Evelyn backstage at Essence, with her blinged out ring :)
