According to reports, all of the wives didn’t receive rings, as some of the players (like Lebron James) asked permission for their better half’s to receive a ring. My question is…do the wives, fiances and girlfriends of NBA championships deserve a ring too? And should all of the wives/girlfriends of the team received a ring?

Wow!showing favortism at its best. If all the players received a ring rather they played or not during the season & post season; shouldn’t all the wives,girlfriends,fiances and jump-offs(lets not forget them) get a ring as well? As s woman, I would not want the a NBA Championship ring, hell most of the can barely get an engagement ring. ijs
I think its nice..and its not an official ring. The NFL doesnt do that mess though hunny LMAOO but mostly because on an NFL team there are about 53 ppl who all get a ring, out of 53, about 30 of em play
If they pay for it, why not? Let my hubby get a superbowl or nba champ ring and he wants to give me a “wife” version/replica…and you think I’d say “oh no babe. This isn’t right. The rest of the husband’s didn’t buy one for their wives so its not fair”??

we all know they did nothing to deserve to wear a ring, yes they supported their men while THEY were working for the ring but it was not the women making lay ups or doing assists on the court. That work is a symbol of the mens hard work not in support of working, no they dont deserve a ring. Any other piece of jewelry is fine but come on what did they do on those courts not nothing.
If a woman is supposed to get a ring every time we support our husbands in their jobs well its some rings that are long over due to plenty of women in the world. lol
There is no way girlfriends or fiances deserve a ring. Majority of them will not become wives anyway. That is an expense that is not necessary unless the player pays for it themselves. At the end of the day the rings do not hold that much value anyway. It depreciates in value over the years like everything else.
Wives and girlfriends always get rings or a pendant to wear on a chain. Luckily the players and NBA no how important a good home life and family is to a players success more than the posters here.
Hell yeah, give them one as well. Better yet, just automatically give each player a replica ring, and let them choose who to give it to (some might give it to their mom, or father, or child). Bc every last one of them players know they would not be where they are, or at their best, if it wasn’t for someone at home motivating them, praying for them, and helping to hold them down. What goes on off the court is JUST as important as what goes on, on the court. So no bobbie they might not be doing jump shots, but who’s managing the home, bills, children, shopping for the shoes, clothes, sports drinks, keeping up with the schedule, and All the other crap that’s required when they are so focused on basketball nothing else matters. Yep- they should get one. A replica, and no they shouldn’t have to pay for it.
