Solar Responds Via Twitter on Accusations
UPDATE: Via MTV News, Solar elaborates on his friendship w/ the late, Guru. “That’s untrue, completely unfounded,” he said. “Guru is a family man, I’m a family man. I don’t want to say anything against anybody living a certain type of lifestyle — everybody is free to live their life how they choose to live it — but that’s not my lifestyle or Guru’s lifestyle. We’re straight men. He dealt with women and family. I dealt with women and family. There’s never been any blurring of the lines whatsoever.” Here for more.

Some folks are questioning the validity of the letter that the late Guru shared w/ the world before his death yesterday. In the letter, Guru credits Solar (a producer, and best friend of Guru) for helping him during his treatment, etc. When the letter started circulating, ppl questioned it for a number of reasons.
Solar responds via twitter: Guru made this statement from his own mouth and anybody saying different is insane with Hate! (via @solar_7grand) about 16 hours ago via web
(((What made the letter questionable to me, was the constant reference to Solar. In my mind, my final letter to the world would reference God, my close friends and family, my baby-daddy, love of lip gloss and buffalo wings, etc. Guru allegedly “going-in” on his ex-dj, whom he would not even call by name, is a bit over-the-top as well. In Guru’s defense, not that he needs any, he has the right to express how he feels, even if the public/media/dj’s disagree. If that man wanted to write a letter to his damn dog, that’s his business. But who asked me?)))
