The Roots Take The Stage At SXSW + Steve Harvey Holds Annual ‘Disney Dreamers Academy’

SXSW has officially kicked off, with an unlimited number of sessions, red carpet premiers and parties and a ton of music. Over the weekend, we caught The Roots on the Samsung stage over.

And in other news…

Over the weekend, Radio-TV personality Steve Harvey and celebrity friends, devoted their time and energy, for this years Disney Dreamers Academy. In collaboration with Essence Magazine, the program began in 2007, and was a way for Harvey to give 100 high school students the opportunity to inspire and fuel their dreams.
