Jim Jones’ Girlfriend, Chrissy, Talks the Portrayal of Women on Reality TV + Reunion Show Footage

Chrissy Lampkin, who stars on VH1’s reality show, Love & Hip-Hop, and also dates rapper Jim Jones, shared with CNN her concerns about the portrayal of women on reality television. Lampkin explained, “It’s always been a man’s world and I feel like women have a lane now. We deserve to be viewed and respected on a serious level.” She also shared that the new-found spotlight isn’t necessarily comfortable, “When people walk up to me and say ‘That’s the girl from the Jim Jones show’ I want to correct them. It’s cost me a lot emotionally because I walk down the street and people feel like they know me.”
The highly anticipated reunion show aired Monday, May 16th on VH1 and was FILLED with pure entertainment. Peep some of the most dramatic clips.
