Phylicia Rashad & Rosie Perez Star In New Film

Our favorite TV mother, Phylicia Rashad, favorite ‘True Blood’ actor, Nelsan Ellis and our favorite actress with an accent, Rosie Perez, join forces to co-star in the film adaptation of Marie Phillips’ novel, “Gods Behaving Badly” (2007). The Bestselling novel is about fallen Greek Gods who must live and work as regular people; that is, if you consider phone sex operators, dog walkers and busy-bodies ordinary. The cast includes: Aphrodite (Sharon Stone), Apollo (Oliver Platt), Artemis (Edie Falco), Demeter (Phylicia Rashad), Dionysus (Nelsan Ellis), Eros (Gideon Glick), Hades (John Turturro), Hermes (Henry Zebrowski), Persephone (Rosie Perez), and Zeus (Christopher Walken) as well as Kate (Alicia Silverstone ) and Neil (Ebon Moss-Bachrach). The film, directed by Turtletaub, is scheduled to go into production in mid-July.
