Actress Tika Sumpter Talks Men, “I like the guys that…take the lead” & More

28-year-old actress Tika Sumpter, who recently starred in “Gossip Girl” opened up to Page Six about what she likes in a man, her personal style and her love for food.

On men:

“I like guys who know what they want and can take the lead. They get major points for taking initiative because I have to control so much in my own life, I don’t want to have to tell anyone what to do.”

On her love of food:

“I like being at home and cooking. I just made branzino stuffed with crab. I grill lamb chops and just enjoy cooking fish and vegetables. I have a great kitchen. I’m overlooking Manhattan while I cook. I’ll have a glass of wine. That’s a night for me.”

 

On her sense of style:

“I’m a Gemini, so I change my look whatever way the wind blows. Sometimes I feel boho chic and others, I feel Armani chic. Some days, I can be in Converse and jeans,” says the conscientious shopper, who hits both the high end at Nordstrom and the low end at Target. I love a bargain.”
