Jim Jones Says Chrissy Will Not Be Fighting On New Reality Season
The first season of Jim Jones’ reality TV series “Love & Hip Hop” brought it’s fair share of drama to the television screen. The show aired from March 6th to May 12th. Some of the more memorable moments include the drama between Jim Jones’ girlfriend, Chrissy, and up-and-coming artist, Somaya; the quarrel between Emily (Fabolous’ son’s mother) and Olivia (singer who first came out as a member of G-Unit) about who’s man was better or worse; and the moment when Chrissy decided to propose marriage to Jim Jones.
Since the announcement that the show will be on for a second season, there have been rumors that Chrissy has gotten into some more drama, involving one of the show’s new cast members. Allegedly, she (Chrissy) got into a fight (or altercation) with Juelz Santana’s girlfriend Kimbella, who will be a newcomer on the new season of the show. On RapFix Live this Wednesday (September 14th), Jim Jones addressed that rumor. He said:
“I definitely ain’t heard that one. I would hope that ain’t happen on the show. That’s not a good look. That’s not a good look for family. So I would pray that didn’t happen.”
Apparently, Jim Jones seems to want the show to reflect more positivity than negativity about his life and the lives of those closest to him. In the interview, he admitted that he was reluctant to start doing reality TV at first but now that he has experienced it, he has fallen in love with the concept of his show and is excited about the new season.
He said:
“It’s a good show, it’s dope. Ain’t nothing like good television. Getting into it I didn’t really know what I was going to get out of it or how it would make me look. This is something they’ve been trying to do with me for like five years. We finally got it down to a science where I can be a part of it and not necessarily make it feel like it’s my show directly. First season I was a little skeptic. I watched it like everybody else, fell in love with it, started to understand what television was with this whole reality show period. They say there’s some crazy percentage of reality shows on television, like it’s 40% of television or something like that. So it’s like the new “Cosby” shows or sitcoms or new soap operas. I’m cool with it as long as it keeps making sense, I keep making more money every season and people keep loving the show then we good.”
Although he denies a fight between the two women, Jim did announce that there will be “A Lottttt Of Drama.” The new season begins on November 14th. Here’s footage of the interview:
