I was one of the 12 students arrested. There is a misprint above. There were 121 students and 1 professor. The professor was arrested because he stepped over the caution tape to better hear the police. We were arrested because we PEACEFULY sat on the sidewalk while they put caution tape up, in which they took down not even an hour later, so that they could say the sidewalk was closed. The tape was put up AFTER we had sat down just to get us away from the White House and destroy our purpose but our voices were heard. Also we were not charged with anything! We were just given a $100 ticket.
