Bernie Mac Documentary In The Works

A documentary about the life of the late Bernie Mac is underway. Berni Mac (real name Bernard Jeffrey McCullough) was a legendary comedian and actor who died in 2008 of an inflammatory lung disease. The documentary, “I Ain’t Scared of you: A Tribute to Bernie Mac” was developed by an independent film house. The rights of the film have been acquired by Image Entertainment for distribution in North America. It will feature appearances by Zoe Saldana, Samuel L. Jackson, Cameron Diaz and Chris Rock. Viewers will also get to view exclusive footage of Mac’s early, never-before-seen performances. No word yet on an official release date.
