The Plot Thickens :: Does Tameka Raymond Want to Strip Usher of Joint Custody?

It appears that Usher Raymond and his ex-wife, Tameka Raymond, are having some technical difficulties, in terms of their children. The two, who were married 2007-2009, have two children together (Usher V and Naviyd Eli). And according to reports, Tameka is having some co-parenting issues with Usher and would like to remove his right to have joint custody of their children.

WHY, you ask??? Tameka lists a few reasons:
- He’s required to get permission to bring the children out of the country, but has failed to do so.
- He’s also required to get her approval on things like the hiring of nannies, allowing him to have the kids for a certain period of time in the summer, allowing him custody during Christmas break, and pay her $5k a month for nannies (which she alleges he hasn’t paid and owes her $34k for), etc.
- It’s been reported that she also wants more child support payments and he recently closed her Saks 5th Avenue credit card…ouch!
A hearing is scheduled for this week (tomorrow). There’s been no official comment from Tameka’s camp. Tameka responded to the story by tweeting:

#TheBlockIsHot :)
Updated: Global Grind has reported another alleged reason that Tameka is seeking sole custody. According to one of their sources, Usher filed for sole custody of the couple’s children back in January, while Tameka was out of the country. And now, we hear that he’s trying to move their two children to Tribeca in New York City–meanwhile, Tameka lives in Atlanta. Yikes! Stay tuned!
