Updated: ‘Eve & Ocho’ Reality Spin-Off CANCELLED

As you know, there’s been non-stop coverage about the alleged domestic dispute between NFL’er Chad Johnson (formerly Ochocinco) and his reality star wife, Evelyn Lozada. And for those who were wondering if plans surrounding their spin-off reality show were still a go, they are.
ABC News Radio has learned that VH1 still plans to air “Ev & Ocho” as planned. The series, which follows the couple as they prepare for the nuptials with the help of wedding planner Diann Valentine, is set to premiere on the network on Sept. 3, 2012 at 9:30 PM PT/ET.
Do you think the network should have cancelled their show?
UPDATED: Since this post, VH1 has pulled the plug on the show. Please see the statement below via ABC News Radio:
“Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series ‘Ev and Ocho’ from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it,”
the network said in a statement.

What’s the point of watching a show based on them getting married when the marriage seems be over
:-/ Looks like they’ve ruined the show too. (I wasn’t going to watch either way)
Exactly!
Frankly, from a business point they should not cancel, lets not forget they both got paid and vh1 invested and produced that mess that those two media whores agreed to. Vh1 has nothing to do with their predictable downfall, they should both be embarrassed. Time to be about that life Eve-and-Ocho.
I think they should still air it. It’s not like they’re going to take the money they already paid the two. Let us see all of the promises of future they proclaimed during the taping of this show…then we can all watch and laugh knowing the outcome. What goes around comes around.
I don’t VH1 could have made any money off of the show if they aired it. What company would buy advertisement during this mess knowing the outcome. I’m sure VH1 came to a business decision and realized it was a loss cause.
Well Eve, did you jump off the table to fight, and got butted by “Chad Head”. You have destroyed what was left of the over-the-hill wannabe football player career.
smh I want vh1 to still air the show… just for laughs because evelyn is a mess and I believe she prolly through the first punch smh n maybe even maybe it was her fighting n voilent behavior (as seen on bball wives) n accidentally got bumped..lol

She should listen to Jennifer.
Exactly, whose really surprised by this? No one. He wasn’t faithful while they were dating. What made her think he would change his stripes after they got married!
