Evelyn Lozada Files For Divorce From Chad Ochocinco
According to a few reports, it’s a wrap for Basketball Wives’ Evelyn Lozada and NFL’er Chad Ochocinco Johnson. No official statement has been released from Lozada or Ocho’s camp. Radar Online reports that within the next 48 hours, legal papers are expected to be filed in a Miami courtroom. The couple have been married for only 40 days. Stay tuned as this story continues to unfold.
UPDATED: There are conflicting reports as to if Evelyn has ALREADY filed for divorce, or if she’s filing this week. TMZ reports:
Evelyn Lozada filed legal docs moments ago in Florida, claiming her marriage is “irretrievably broken.”
According to the divorce docs, the couple had a prenup.
And in additional not-so-pleasant news for Ochocinco, the reality show ‘Hard Knocks’ will actually show Dolphins coach Joe Philbin meeting with and cutting Johnson just hours after his arrest Saturday. The show airs at 10 p.m. [Miami Herald]

i feel bad for both of them but i think chad is taking the most serious hit he is a man who injured a woman by head butting her. his career is effected now but im not gonna put that all on evelyn yes she is a hot head but he knew that we all knew that.. i just wish them will in both of their futures.. i know this is the last thing either of them expected..
On every interview I heard thus far from her, she has yet to bash this man. No one is saying that she is not a hot head,but that does not give him the right to put his hands on her. Not only that, he publicly admits that he was at fault and he made a immature mistake. Many women would take his apology and continue on with the relationship, but I”m very proud that she is taking a stand of no more. She probably knows it will more than likely happen again.
