Kanye West Gets Twitter Deep, Contemplates The Word ‘B*tch’ & ‘N-Word’ in Music

Over the summer, we learned that Kanye West was penning a track called “Perfect B*tch”, referencing his relationship with girlfriend, Kim Kardashian. The song is rumored to be on Ye’s upcoming album. And although he’s penned a song with the controversial word, Yeezy may feel a bit conflicted artistically about it. Sunday afternoon, a day after hitting Jay-Z’s ‘Made In America’ festival, he went on a Twitter rant of sorts, contemplating the appropriateness of it’s use (along with the words n*gga and n*gger). He wrote:

Kanye ended his twitter dissertation with Lupe Fiasco’s video ‘Bad B*tch’

What do you think of Kanye’s question about the use of the word b*tch? Is it ever okay (used affectionately and/or artistically) and what abou the n-word? Lastly, do folk give too much power to profanity?
