Oprah Winfrey Snags New Movie Project With HBO

Oprah Winfrey has joined forces with HBO. According to reports, Ms. Winfrey’s Harpo Films production company has begun developing a new drama for HBO’s network. According to Hollywood Reporter report, the show
“centers on the first black president of a prestigious liberal arts college who has been thrust into the national headlines while also engaging in ‘agonizing personal battles’ and ‘dark obsessions’ away from the public eye.”
The details are still fuzzy at this point, but we do know that the film is being written by Thomas Bradshaw and produced by Oprah and Kate Forte.
