Just Hitched! Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s Tammy Rivera & Waka Flocka Secretly Elope
Love is in the air and it isn’t compliments of #KimYe. Reportedly, rapper Waka Flocka Flame (real name Juaquin Malphurs) and his fiancee, Tammy Rivera are now married. According to Rumor Fix, the couple, who are newbies to VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, secretly eloped.
During this season of LHHA, viewers watched at Waka’s mother, Debra Antney express that she wanted to plan their wedding. In fact, she told the couple during the last episode, that she wanted to walk Waka down the aisle. Waka and Tammy beat Ms. Antney to the punch. The site reports:
“This is real Love & Hip Hop,” Debra Antney tells RumorFix in an exclusive interview about her son, Waka Flocka Flame, secretly marrying his fiancee Tammy River.
“I was selfish. I wanted to be a part of it,” Debra says, but “they got a marriage license about two weeks ago without me knowing it.”
Debra adds the rapper “kept his word. He said that he was going to marry her and he did it on his terms. It was very cute to me.”
She says the reality star couple is still going to have a service and a party, but “I’m happy. He’s very responsible.”
To date, Waka nor Tammy have yet to comment. Our guess is, they may be waiting to reveal the news during the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta reunion, or this season if VH1 is still filming. From what we hear, this is the first marriage for both Tammy and Waka. Congrats! [Rumor Fix]
