[EXCLUSIVE] Viacom Fires Back At Pebbles $40 Million Lawsuit Over TLC Movie: We Did NOT Lie!
The network behind the TV movie “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story” is firing back at the girls ex-manager Pebbles 40 MILLION lawsuit, claiming that they did not inaccurately portray her in the film, therefore her legal action should be dismissed.
As previously reported, TLC’s former manager Perri ‘Pebbles’ Reid sued Viacom for $40 million, claiming she was defamed by how TV movie “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story” portrayed her.
The 49-year-old producer explained in docs that the film showed her
as a conniving and dishonest business woman who hoodwinked three innocent girls and exploited their talent for her own personal gain.
