[EXCLUSIVE] Brian McKnight’s Legal Battle Ends: Financial Ruin Settled, Ex-Accountant To Pay Singer $$$
Brian McKnight has ended his nasty legal battle over his finances being in ruin along with his music money being mismanaged and has signed a confidential settlement agreement with his former accountant in which he will be paid.
The singer sued the accounting firm Vernon Brown earlier this year, claiming he had worked with them for years until 2010 when he realized his finances were in shambles. He accused them of not paying his taxes for over a decade which resulted in him owing over a million to the IRS plus an additional 500k in penalties. McKnight claimed that they left his entire life in ruin with a lien placed against his house over the tax debt and his music royalties frozen until he paid off the back taxes.
