[INTERVIEW] Carlos King Reveals His Biggest Fear With ‘Hollywood Divas’

Carlos King: Well I can’t speak on it because I don’t hire or fire. My job is to produce who I have so I can’t speak too much to the reason Porsha is not a peach holder this season. I can say you will see lots of her and she’s amazing, I love her, she’s very messy in a good way and she gives you great soundbites and so she may not be a peach holder but you get to see tons of Porsha as if she is one.

theJasmineBRAND.com: Will we see tons of NeNe because I heard that she has quit the show?

Carlos King: Oh, I didn’t hear that rumor, you will see NeNe on this season. Nene has been filming she’s very busy but she’s been filming and you will see tons of NeNe Linnethia Monique Leakes Johnson you get
to see the rich bi-ch continuing to be rich so you get to see the season premiere open up as NeNe as the [Cirque Du Soleil] Zumanity [host] so you get to see her in Vegas and being fabulous darling.

theJasmineBRAND.com: Last questions. What was one of your biggest fear about doing this type show because it is a risk, it is a new franchise. So what would you say was one of your biggest fears about doing it?

Carlos King: My biggest fear about doing Hollywood Divas was I wanted to really show the world the depth of these women, but also be entertaining because like you said these women aren’t reality stars so I didn’t know whether or not they were going to trust me with the process. Be funny and be entertaining and be shady and be sassy and spicy because I don’t want to produce a boring show honey, because that’s not the Carlos Kingdom Reign brand. Nobody watches my shows to fall asleep. So I wanted to really bring the drama but also bring the
excitement and bring the elements.

theJasmineBRAND.com: Did you accomplish that?

Carlos King: Well honey, I’m here if I didn’t accomplish that I would be in the unemployment line. Ok? The kingdom still reigns and Hollywood Divas is definitely going to be the biggest hit on TV One. I’m
predicting that.
