14 Year Old Teen Claims Tyga DM-the jasmine brand

14-Year-Old Molly O’Malia, Tyga

Tyga’s name is involved yet again with an underage girl. Earlier today, a 14-year-old named Molly O’Malia, held a press conference in NYC with famed attorney Gloria Allred. The teen (who is also an aspiring singer and model) claims that the 26-year-old rapper – who is linked to Kylie Jenner – reached out to her direct message on Instagram.

So what’s the issue? Besides the fact that she’s 14, she claims that OK! ran a story about their communication, revealing her identity and exploiting her. TMZ reports:

Allred held a news conference in NYC with the teenager, a model named Molly O’Malia … who claims Tyga initiated the convo with her, and not the other way around. Allred launched an attack against OK! because she says the magazine poorly pixelated Molly’s image.

She says people figured out it was Molly, and have been hounding her about allegedly coming between Kylie and Tyga. Molly, who’s also an aspiring singer, claims Tyga reached out to her … first through Instagram … and she only responded because she thought it was about her music. She says she got skeeved out though when he allegedly asked to FaceTime. Allred says the magazine’s claim the two were “hooking up” is not true and what’s more, portrays Molly “in a completely false light” — and exploited a minor. Despite that … there was no talk of a lawsuit.

See the press conference below.

Update #2. Tyga has responded, stating he reached out to Molly only for professional reasons. His rep says that he was scouting musical talent and became interested in signing her as a singer, according to TMZ. The site reports:

Tyga’s manager Anthony Martini tells TMZ the rapper reached out to 14-year-old Molly O’Malia after his team found out she had a pretty strong musical following online and thought she might be a candidate for a Last Kings Records project … his record label. Tyga claims it was strictly business and completely PG. As for her age — according to text messages obtained by TMZ … Molly mentions she is 17.

The manager says in the back and forth Tyga specifically asked her to send him some music, adding things never got “uncomfortable” as she claimed. The rep says Tyga wanted to FaceTime Molly to talk business and see her sing … as he sat in the studio with his producers.
