Ciara Demands Judge Grant Permanent Injunction Against Future Order

theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, Ciara is demanding a Georgia judge grant her a permanent injunction against her baby daddy Future, which she wants to prohibit him from ever speaking negatively about her or posting to his social media accounts — claiming it’s the only way to stop the ongoing injuries he is causing to her career and personal life.

Here’s the latest: This month, Ciara returned to court and filed an amended complaint and now she is seeking an injunction to be granted against her ex-fiance. The singer explains Future has ruined her reputation, lost her a $500k+ endorsement deal and ruins the good will she obtained through her work on numerous charities, including her education outreach efforts with First Lady Michelle Obama.

Ciara says her ex has made negative comments about her in the media and he won’t stop unless she is granted an injunction against him. In court docs, she states:

Unless enjoined and restrained by the Court, Defendant will republish, repeat and continue to disseminate the Tweets. Such continued republications and dissemination of the defamatory and offensive falsehoods will cause irreparable harm to Plaintiff by
damaging her reputation and adversely affecting her philanthropic and
business efforts as well as her personal relationships.

Further, she points out that she is entitled to an injunction against Future and any member of his team from posting any defamatory post on social media about her due to the on-going injuries he is causing her financially and personally.

Ciara is demanding the judge grant a permanent injunction which will prohibit Future from posting on social media or speaking to the press about her negatively forever. The judge has yet to make a decision on her motion.

Here’s the backstory: theJasmineBRAND.com broke the story — this year Ciara filed suit against her ex/baby daddy Future in Georgia Court, accusing him of defamation, slander and libel.

Ciara said that Future has – over the past year – published numerous false and defamatory statements regarding her which contain several misrepresentations regarding her conduct and character in relation to their son.

The singer accused him of lying about her publicly to increase interest and publicity for his upcoming musical endeavors, namely the release of his album and tour. Ciara said Future purposefully published lies about her on his Twitter account, social media and other interviews to destroy her reputation
as a good mother, to diminish her brand and to impair her professional career in the entertainment industry.

The suit explained that the parties were in a highly publicized romantic relationship, given their celebrity status. The two gave birth to their son in 2014 but their relationship ended around September
2014 after the birth of Future.

Ciara said after numerous attempts to arrange custody, child support and visitation, she had to file a claim against him in another state for support.

She also brought up her now husband (fiance at the time) NFL star Russell Wilson by adding in her complaint,

Following the parties’ break-up, both plaintiff and defendant embarked on new personal relationships. However, it is important to note that given Plaintiff’s celebrity status, her
relationship with her current significant other became highly publicized in April, 2015, and has been a subject of media attention since that time. Plaintiff’s new significant other is also a public figure.

The singer accused Future of exploiting her new relationship with Russell Wilson by beginning a media campaigning around June 2015 in which he used both their son and her new relationship with Russell to spread lies about her to promote his new CD.

She stated that her legal team contacted Future’s lawyers demanding a retraction and apology about his tweets regarding her being a mother, but he didn’t respond and no apology was issued. Future
didn’t comply, so she went to court and hit him with a $15 mill dollar lawsuit, along with seeking $250k in attorney fees.

Future blasted Ciara in his response saying she caused the damage herself by filing the lawsuit and claimed his comments and tweets were his opinion and not defamatory. He demanded the entire case be thrown out of court.
