Update: Homeland Security Officer Says There Is ‘Concrete, Detailed, Explicit Allegations’ Against Diddy: ‘This Is Not Random’ + Says Authorities Are ‘Getting A Lot Of Cooperation From’ Diddy’s Accusers

Update #3 (March 28, 2024): A federal agent says officers had enough “concrete” evidence to raid Diddy’s homes earlier this week, and his accusers are said to be willfully sharing their side with authorities.

A Department of Homeland Security officer told NY Post that Diddy has been under investigation for weeks, adding,

“We believe that there is a disturbing history of sex trafficking.”

The officer, who is based in Miami where Homeland Security agents raided one of Diddy’s homes on Monday (March 25), added,

“We are responding to concrete, detailed, explicit allegations. This is not random. We didn’t choose his name out of a hat. We had allegations that we’re following up on.”

The officer, who did not want to be publicly identified, referenced the lawsuits against Diddy that accuse him of horrendous crimes from sex trafficking to sexual assault, suggesting that’s what kicked off the investigation against the Bad Boy Records exec.

“We became aware of certain allegations during the course of the civil suits against Mr. Combs. You have to understand that we didn’t just decide on a whim to search his homes. A federal judge had to sign off. This isn’t a witch hunt.”

While Homeland Security executed the search warrant on Diddy’s Los Angeles and Miami properties, the Southern District of New York’s attorney’s office is leading the case. The officer also told the outlet that authorities are looking for,

“photos, emails, texts, itineraries, hopefully names. There are specific communications that we are aware of that we will be able to access on the electronics.”

Diddy

Meanwhile, some of Diddy’s accusers are sharing their side while speaking to authorities.

“That’s a funny thing about victims. They may be reluctant to speak at first, but once they start talking, they talk. They talk a lot. We are getting a lot of cooperation from a lot of people who want to see him brought to justice.”

The source clarified that for now, Diddy

“is not under arrest; he is under investigation. He is free right now to do what he wants, but he is aware that if charges come down, we will get him — wherever he is.”

Update #2 (March 27, 2024): Diddy has spoken out for the first time after his Los Angeles and Miami homes were raided by Homeland Security amid sex trafficking lawsuits against him.

His attorney Aaron Dyer told E! News in a statement:

“Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences. There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated.”

He added that Diddy was never detained and “spoke to and cooperated with authorities.”

The attorney concluded:

“This unprecedented ambush—paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence—leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits,” the lawyer alleged. “There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.”

Update #1(March 26): More details are coming out after Diddy’s Miami and Los Angeles homes were raided by Homeland Security on Monday afternoon (March 25).

Three women and one man were interviewed by federal agents in Manhattan about multiple alarming claims against Diddy including sexual assault, sex trafficking, and solicitation and distribution of illegal narcotics and firearms, per multiple reports. Three other people are also scheduled to speak with federal agents.

In his first spotting since the shocking raid, the Bad Boy exec was seen pacing back and forth outside of the customs office at the Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport. Diddy and others were stopped by federal agents at the airport, witnesses told TMZ. One witness said he was waiting for people on his team who were being questioned by authorities, but it’s not clear who was at the airport with him. He was said to be on a separate jet when they were all grounded by the feds.

It was also noted that Diddy was not handcuffed and didn’t appear to be in police custody after Homeland Security executed a warrant from the Southern District of New York.

After Diddy was stopped, authorities took his phones ahead of his scheduled departure to the Bahamas. It isn’t clear if Diddy is still in Miami as of publication Tuesday morning (March 26). It also hasn’t been confirmed that Diddy was on the run from authorities when his jet attempted to take off from Miami.

Original Story (March 25): Things aren’t looking too good for Diddy.

News just broke that his Miami and Los Angeles homes were raided by Homeland Security today (Mar. 25). Reportedly, the raids have something to do with sex trafficking allegations surrounding the music mogul. A rep for Homeland Security Investigations shared with TMZ,

“Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners. We will provide further information as it becomes available.”

Video footage from the incident seemingly shows Diddy’s sons — Justin Combs, 30, and King Combs, 25, outside one of the residents in handcuffs. Others are also seen alongside the celeb’s adult children in cuffs. Some reports claim the raids didn’t end there, and Diddy’s home on the east coast was hit as well.

Diddy has maintained his innocence amid the multiple sexual assault and sex trafficking allegations he’s been hit with over the past few months.

This is a developing story, please check back for updates.
