Usher & Jennifer Hudson to Perform for Whitney Houston Special

On Thursday, the Recording Academy announced that a one-hour special, honoring the late Whitney Houston is underway. Titled, “We Will Always Love You: A Grammy Salute to Whitney Houston” artists like Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson and Usher are scheduled to perform. Other artists will be confirmed at a later date.

The special will be taped Oct. 11 at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live and and air Nov. 16 on CBS. The compilation album, “I Will Always Love You – The Best of Whitney Houston,” will be released on Nov. 13. Here’s footage of Jennifer Hudson performing ‘I Will Always Love You’ at the 2012 Grammy’s.
