Ja Rule Tweets, After Jail Sentencing + 50 Cent v Ja Rule Twitter Beef

After the news broke that Jeffrey Atkins, better known as Ja Rule, would be serving two years in prison on gun charges, he took to twitter and tweeted, “Minor setback for a major comeback.”
Ja pleaded guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon from an incident that took place in 2007 after performing with Lil Wayne at Manhattan’s Beacon Theatre.

After his performance, Ja was pulled over in his vehicle and charged with illegal possession of a firearm. Police found a loaded semiautomatic weapon in the rear door of his car. Since Ja took a plea agreement, folks are speculating that he’ll likely serve 16 months in prison, followed by a year and a half of post-prison supervision.
Of course, our favorite slick-talking rapper, 50 cent, had some choice tweets for Ja after the news broke. The two (50 and Ja) have had verbal issues with each other for years.

50 Tweeted, “Damn da homie Jah Rule gotta do two years. “Tell him I said don’t worry I got him when he come home. Lol … Jah came out the court room yelling who the f— canceled Christmas. Lol.”
Apparently Ja couldn’t let that ride and tweeted back, “N—a u P—Y, shut up before I smack u in yo mouth again lol!! The nerve of some n—as!”
