(Updated) Suge Knight Stay in Some Sh*t, Bench Warrant Issued
Frankly put, Suge Knight honestly stays in some shit. Suge, the ex co-founder of Death Row Records, I don’t have the energy to run-down all the sh*t that Suge gets into publicly, but I’ll bullet the ish for your short-attention-spanned pleasure:
- 1996 Knight was sent to prison for a probation violation.
- 1997 he was sentenced to 9 years for the violation.
- He was released in 2001, but in 2003, he was sent to jail again for violating parole when he struck a parking lot attendant (yeah, a parking lot attendant). We won’t even mention his long a** beef with Snoop.
- In 2008, Suge (who folks used to be terrified of) got into an altercation in Hollywood, when a dude knocked him out (like put him to sleep, like eyes shut, on the ground) for 3 minutes.
- In 2009, Suge was extensively beaten at a private party @ the W during All-Star weekend.
- In 2009, Suge was also implicated in the robbery of Akon’s producer, Noel “Detail” Fisher.
This doesn’t even cover all of his financial issues.Fast forward to today, he now has a $40,000 bench warrant issued for his arrest that took place on November 23 after he failed to show up to court in L.A. for two traffic tickets.
Updated–since posting this, Suge was arrested around 11:30 PM Friday evening, booked at the West Hollywood station at around 1:15 AM, issued a citation, and released.
Suge, please have a seat, you were born in 1965 (no, really).
