Pray for Nate Dogg’s Family, Rapper/Singer Passes at Age 41 + Snoops Responds

According to several media outlets, 41-year-old, Nathaniel D. Hale, known as rapper/singer, Nate Dogg, reportedly passed Tuesday night. Raised in Long Beach, California, Nate Dogg became well-know for being in the group 213, in 1991, with Snoop and Warren G. Later, Nate Dogg sang on Dr. Dre’s The Chronic, produced the hit single, “Regulate” (with Warren G), sang on a few Tupac hits and signed to Death Row Records. According to the Press Telegram, his death was first reported by his family Tuesday evening. Previously, Nate Dogg had suffered two strokes.

Snoop, who was good friends with Nate Dogg tweeted: “We lost a true legend n hip hop n rnb. One of my best friends n a brother to me since 1986 when I was a sophomore at poly high where we met.” Prayers go out to Nate Dogg’s family.
