Snoop from ‘The Wire’ Arrested in Drug Sting

After a 5 month drug sting operation in Baltimore, 30-year-old Felicia “Snoop” Pearson, along with 30 other people were arrested. Snoop is well-known nationally, for her role in the HBO series, The Wire. The Wire, focused on different elements (illegal drug trade, seaport system, city government and bureaucracy,school system, and print news media) of Baltimore city and ran from 2002–2008.
According to the Washington Post, early Thursday a.m., raids were conducted by agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration, Baltimore police and a slew of other federal and state law enforcement agencies.Snoop was taken into custody at a downtown apartment on a state warrant. Full story here.
