Love Don’t Live Here Anymore….(Allegedly) Funkmaster Flex and Wife Call it Quits

Popular DJ and radio personality, Funkmaster Flex and his wife of 18 years, Monica Joseph-Taylor, have allegedly called it quits. A month or so ago, allegedly, Flex and “a woman” got into a domestic dispute. Rumor has it that Monica posted a personal statement on her blog, that was later deleted. The statement said:

After almost 18 years of friendship and marriage it is with great regret that I announce my husband Aston Taylor, also known as Funkmaster Flex, and I are separated. We have tremendous love and respect for each-other, and will continue to work on our professional projects together. Our top priority has and will always be our children!

I personally ask that the press keep in mind Flex is the celebrity, not myself or my children, please respect our privacy.

With all of the drama surrounding Mr. Cee and since Flex is a friend to him, I’m not sure if one has to do with the other or if Monica’s blog has been hacked. In either case, the truth will come out soon. Source
