Driving-While-Light-Skinned: Phaedra Parks’ Husband, Apollo Arrested….Accidentally

Apolla Nida, the husband of Phaedra Parks, who is on the reality show, the Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA), was allegedly accidentally arrested in Atlanta. He was pulled over Thursday afternoon in Georgia, but it was a case of mistaken identity. After they realized that he was not the suspect, he was quickly released.

What’s so odd here is that if you follow RHOA you know that Apollo has a record and has been to prison. According to public records, he was convicted for racketeering and began serving his sentence July 28, 2004. He served almost 5 years of his 18-year sentence before being paroled in 2009. On RHOA, Apollo’s record was initially a big deal and Phaedra and he were pretty open to discussing it (hell, they didn’t have much of a choice). Anyway, they let homeboy go. Source
