A beautiful thing. According to NY Daily News, Kanye West performed at Gil Scott-Heron’s memorial service, today in Harlem, at Riverside Church. Yeezy ended the memorial service with his hit “Lost In the World” – that sampled Scott-Heron’s “Who Will Survive in America?” Gia, SCott-Heron’s daughter, performed Bette Midler’s “The Rose” and recited an orginal poem.
