Forever 21 Sues Blogger for Sh*t Talking
A sattircal blogging site called, WTForever21, has been told to “shut the eff up” or in legal terms, has been hit with a cease-and-desist. Just who is WTFForever21? In their about section, it reads,
Have you ever been browsing the racks (digital or otherwise) of Forever 21 and seen a garment that made you utter the immortal acronym, WTF? Me too.Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Forever 21. Most of my closet is comprised of their tasteful, trendy and totally awesome selections. But every now and then, something goes horribly awry.Here you will find a daily dose of those few misses the awesome clothing manufacturer makes.
I checked out the site and it’s pretty, freaking funny. Any-who, Forever21 accuses WTForever21 of “trademark infringement, copyright infringement, unfair competition and dilution” of the Forever 21 brand.
Peep the letter to read Forever’s specific claims. Rachel Kane, who runs the site, has until June 10 to shut that sh*t down…after that date, Forever plans to file a lawsuit. Peep the full story here.
