38-year old Tracee Ellis Ross is covering the September 2011 issue of Essence. She talks “Girlfriends”…

“…On ‘Girlfriends’ I had become a woman, but it wasn’t until three or four years later that I really began to embody who I had become.”

And even tweeted excitement of covering their upcoming issue.

We will see more of Ross on her BET show “Reed Between The Lines” that features Malcolm Jamal-Warner and hers (Ross) truly.
