Aretha Franklin Uses Celebrity to Side-Step Parking Ticket

Apparently, even cops that write tickets, bow to the Queen…According to Page Six, Monday evening, a traffic cop issued Aretha Franklin a parking ticket. Franklin had been dining at Neely’s Barbecue Parlor, when the meter of the car she was in expired. The meter maid recognized Franklin and instead took a signed autograph of her, along with signed cookbooks from Pat and Gina Neely. Must be nice :) Source
