Pit bulls are dangerous dogs and should not be allowed as pets. Canada has strict rules on people who own Pit Bulls and the U.S. needs to also. Currently owners of Pit Bulls in Canada must have muzzle for their dog and no breeding of Pit Bulls are allowed in the country and these dogs are not allowed to be taken in the country, so they are on their way to extinction. U.S. needs to think about the same.
@Anthony I wholeheartedly agree. It is our fault for creating this designer breed in the first place. The pittbull terrier has a host of mixes which overtime has crossed bloodlines leaving a confused canine with multiple breed personalities. The responsible thing to do would be to eradicate the breed over time humanely by placing strict breeding and ownership regulations. Anthony and Netta, I’m so sorry about your closed minded ignorance. I encourage people to actually do some “real” research on the topic they are posting about. clicking on the first link the your search engine produces is not considered being informed on a topic. You are both very wrong and speaking out of line to say the least. Let me guess back in the 70’s you would have been saying the same thing about German Shepherds (ya know the one’s that police around the world use) along with all of those ignorant people. Then it was Rottweiler’s, now it’s pit bull’s. There are thousands no, millions of people including experts on bully breeds that will disagree strongly with what you both have to say, and they didn’t just listen to the news, type “pit bull” in a search engine to read about them. These are experts on the breed. Please do this world a favor and talk about something you actually know something about. thanks
