Jay-Z Protects Beyonce on Ferris Wheel

Last week, Jay-Z held a huge fundraiser (raising $1.033 million) at Pier 5, where he raised funds for his foundation, The Shawn Carter Foundation. The Coney Island style event had a carnival/soiree styled theme with games, rides, food–the works. Rumor has it, that when Jay-Z and Beyonce rode the Ferris wheel together, Jay’s protective instincts kicked in.  According to the NY Daily News:

A party-goer shared that as the ride began its ascent, Beyoncé seemed to register a moment of concern, and her protective spouse instructed the wheel operator to “slow it down.” The source also noted that when Jay was with his wife, the cigar in his mouth was unlit, presumably out of deference to her and a healthful pregnancy.

“I’m excited! I think that is pretty easy.”
