Old Spice Guy Doesn’t Want Nappy Headed Kids
Isaiah Mustafa, better known as the “Old Spice Guy” told E! News’ Giuliana Rancic he wants a woman with good hair and it has to be real, when she asked about his love life.
In Mustafa‘s (weak) defense, his full quote was,
“I want my kids to have nice hair so she better have good hair. Cause, I don’t know if you’ve checked my hair out lately. Aside from today it’s normally nice. Today it’s slightly nappy.”
Yikes.
Shortly after the interview, Mustafa tweeted,

I am sick and tired of black people and their hair issues. There is no such thing as “good hair”. He betta sit his ass down somewhere and be happy he’s getting real acting jobs.
he is not sorry, thats how he feels. over it and over men and women who think like that! who was he before this deodorant gig? oh. kanye shrugs on him and his career!
Could care less…but blacks will never get over hair…for us to have the most flexiable hair type we stay picking on one another for how we feel? Everything isn’t a deep seated hatred for this and that. If thats how he feels you don’t know what he went through, or dealt with. I feel like people have a love hate relationship with the word nappy, it’s got a negative reaction to it, but then people embrace it when they are natural when actually our hair it tightly curled. I use to say mine was nappy, and now i just say naturally tightly curled. I don’t have time to go back and forth with people and their perception of hair. Blk folks cry over damn near everything these days. Like we are still almost trying to find ourselves or something. Take that energy and help the youth who can’t choose between books or a gun. I think he was good for saying sorry. It’s like people are now paranoid and think that professionals in behavioral sciences or something. If he said he was sorry, clearly someone said to him, that he was wrong and he excepted it.
Who cares? lol. If he wants a woman with fine hair so his kids have fine hair so be it. He said his hair was slightly nappy though so hopefully the kids don’t get his genes. And he has a Lebron hairline lol
