NBC Gives “The Playboy Club” The Middle Finger, Cancels Show

Unfortunately, NBC has already decided that their new show “The Playboy Club” is not worthy of another season. Thus, the show has been cut from the channel, after only being aired for 3 episodes. The show is was about the first Playboy Club, in Chicago 1963. Since the show began airing, The Parents Television Council has insisted that the show is too “degrading” and “pornographic.” But not only was the show suffering from bad critique, but also from a lack of viewers. So unfortunately our friend Naturi Naughton, who starred in the show as Brenda who wanted to be the first Black Playboy Bunny, will be out of a job. ABCs show “Charlie’s Angels,” CW’s “H8R,” and a bunch of other shows are also in danger. Click here for a full list.
