J. Lo to Produce Big Screen Version of “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?”

Y’all remember that video game and TV show “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego” from back in the mid-80’s and 90’s, right? For those of us wanting to relive a little bit of the 90’s, Jennifer Lopez is producing (and rumor has it staring in) a big screen, live-action packed version of the cartoon.
If J. Lo does star in the film, she’ll play the title role, one of the world’s greatest detectives who becomes the world’s greatest thief. This isn’t the first time “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego” has been turned into a movie. In the late 90’s, Disney attempted to develop a movie version with Sandra Bullock as the lead but it never materialized.
Hopefully J. Lo is successful in getting this film off the ground. It’ll be dope to see a whole bunch of 20 and 30 somethings crowding out theaters to watch a childhood favorite.
