Eddie Murphy Gives Oscar’s Middle Finger

According to an Oscar’s press release, Eddie Murphy will no longer host the 84th Academy Awards. Why, you ask? Because the show is no longer using Brett Ratner (Tower Heist) as its co-producer. Murphy explained:
“First and foremost I want to say that I completely understand and support each party’s decision with regard to a change of producers for this year’s Academy Awards ceremony. I was truly looking forward to being a part of the show that our production team and writers were just starting to develop, but I’m sure that the new production team and host will do an equally great job.”
President Tom Sherak, responded:
“I appreciate how Eddie feels about losing his creative partner, Brett Ratner, and we all wish him well.”
So why did Ratner resign? Recently, Ratner was on Howard Stern’s radio program on Sirius XM Radio show and made some controversial remarks about gays. Because of all of the heat, on Tuesday, Ratner resigned. Peep the full story here.
