Etta James Released From Hospital, “Stable Condition”

Great news from family and friends of the legendary soul singer, Etta James. After spending time in a Riverside hospital, 73-year-old James has been released. Over the holiday, James’ health seemed to be getting worse, as she reportedly had troubles breathing and was on a respirator. And then last week, she was reportedly taken off the respirator and was able to breathe on her own. Thursday afternoon, she was released from the hospital, under “stable” condition. Her agent confirmed,

“Etta James was released from the hospital this afternoon. She is home with her husband and family by her side. Her condition remains stable.”
