Community Dopeness :: Singer Mario Starts Alcohol Abuse Program With Baltimore Schools

Singer Mario, who has publicly shared that his mother had suffered from drug addiction, has joined forces with Baltimore area middle and high schools, to develop a substance abuse program. Mario’s non-profit, The Mario Do Right Foundation (in conjunction with REACH! School,) will:
“Promote healthy alternatives to smoking, alcohol and drug use. It will also teach the kids techniques to resist peer pressure to engage in these activities. There will also be referrals for parents to the University of Maryland Medical Center for substance abuse treatment.”
