Chaka Khan Pissed That Clive Davis Party Continued, “That was complete insanity…”

Monday evening, singer Chaka Khan, stopped by Piers Morgan, to discuss the tragic death of her close friend, Whitney Houston. Thus far, this seemed to be one of the more truthful and authentic interviews. Chaka shared her fondest memories of Whitney, which included them getting high with Bobby Brown, along with how un-pleased she was that Clive Davis‘ party continued.
On how she felt about Clive Davis’ party:
“I don’t understand how that party went on… after her death… I thought that was complete insanity. I don’t know what could motivate a person, to have a party, in a building, where the person, whose life he had influenced so enormously, and whose life had been affected by her… I don’t understand how that party went on. A more honest tribute, in my opinion, would have been, maybe, call everybody together, say a prayer, let’s eat dinner, and go home.”

Finally, someone speaks on it! It was utterly inappropriate for them to party while her body lay 3 floors above them! And Im sure that pushed her not to perform at the Grammy’s. Ppl say they loved Whitney but Partying hours later was redic!!! I know Clive said the family said she would have wanted it…but someone has to have the common sense…her body was still there when the party began and wasn’t moved until right before midnight!
I see her point…
Yes! I said this on Twitter like 5 times! I couldn’t take it. I was watching the coverage on T.V and it was just so weird. Her body was upstairs, music was blaring from the party. It was just awful.
