Rihanna, Willow Smith, Vivica Fox Considered for Whitney Houston’s Biopic

It’s no surprise that folks have already started talking about a Whitney Houston biopic. But what may be more of a surprise is the list of stars chosen to possibly play Whitney in the movie. We hear, Clive Davis is the one behind the idea, and he’s eager to start the project as soon as possible. Although Meagan Good has previously mentioned that she would want to play the singer, her name was not mentioned as an option :( Instead, our favorite Barbadian-American pop singer, 24 year old Rihanna, tops the list. Most of us probably think this would be a great honor for Rihanna, but she has previously stated that she would not want to play in a film about a singer. In March 2011, when she was asked if she would like to play Whitney Houston’s role, in the remake of “Bodyguard,” she said,
“I hate it when singers do singing movies all the time, because you can never look at them as anybody else. I want to play a character. My whole life is playing Rihanna; being a singer won’t be a stretch for me.”

Maybe that opinion has changed now that Whitney has passed, though? If not 47 year old Vivica Fox, 22 year old Jordin Sparks, and 30 year old Jennifer Hudson are also on the list of people who could possibly play the legendary R&B singer. In addition, 11 year old Willow Smith has been listed to play Whitney in her younger years.

I’m a fan of all the ladies named as possibilities. But what do you all think? Who should play Whitney if a biopic does come out?
