Hustle Harder:: Lil Wayne Releasing Headphone and Shoe Line
Lil Wayne has turned his ever-growing brand into two new business ventures. The Young Money CEO has officially inked a deal with Supra to make a line of shoes that will support his love for skateboarding. A few months ago, he confirmed:
“I do have a shoe coming out soon but it won’t be Trukfit, I have a shoe with a well-known company. I just don’t want to say yet because I haven’t dotted the line yet.”
Although Lil Wayne hasn’t released many other details since then, he did confirm the deal recently, by making a short comment, while interviewing on MTV’s new show ‘Hip Hop POV.’
“I’ve also signed with Supra.”
During the interview, Wayne also briefly shared news of his new line of Beats by Dr. Dre headphones in the works.
“Dr. Dre Beats, I’ve got my own beats coming out soon. I get money.”
The skateboard shoe and headphones will add onto his clothing line ‘Trukfit’ and his partnership with Mountain Dew creating ‘DeWeezy.’ Maybe next year we’ll see Lil Wayne join his “Daddy,” Birdman, on Forbes‘ list of the Top 5 Wealthiest Hip Hop Artists.
